Nice ... but

This looks like a useful tool. A couple of questions:
  1. Is there a mechanism for accessing the .NET framework?
  2. Can I use Mirelle to write commandline tools?
  3. If no to 1, and yes to 2, how do I get the command line data?
Kind regards,

Hello bugmagnet,
  1. No, sorry. Mirelle scripts can only use the classes defined in the compiler.
  2. It was not an intended usage, but yes, you probably can.
  3. You can use the static 'args' field from the 'io' class, like this:
for curr in io:args do
    println "key: ", curr
So therefore it is possible.

This project is abandoned, but you might be interested in a new language I'm currently developing. It has full .NET interoperability, supports lambdas, LINQ and some other cool features heavily inspired by F#. Feel free to contact me.
